Cynthia McKinney to appear on NPR shows

Green Party presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney is scheduled to appear on two nationally broadcast shows on National Public Radio (NPR) this month:

Wednesday, October 22 Talk of the Nation NPR Radio, Washington, DC2:40 pm EST;

Saturday, October 25 NPR News Weekend Edition Saturday Scott Simon, host 8:10 am EST

    Have you hard anything more about McKinney’s statement that 5,000 people were executed in Louisiana during the Katrina crisis?

    I’ve seen some backing reports, for official an not, though the only numbers I’ve seen is 500. (This includes people shot on the street, etc.)

    I read an online news source from Venezuela. The number might be 500, but it was written as 5,000 in the report. Generally, I can’t view videos from where I am–they are blocked–so I do not know what she actually said.
