Added on October 3rd, 2008 at 11:33 amI’ve seen some backing reports, for official an not, though the only numbers I’ve seen is 500. (This includes people shot on the street, etc.)

Added on October 3rd, 2008 at 5:26 pmI read an online news source from Venezuela. The number might be 500, but it was written as 5,000 in the report. Generally, I can’t view videos from where I am–they are blocked–so I do not know what she actually said.
