(Karl’s voice was one of the ones I often heard on the phone when I did printing for WRL from the early 80s through the late nineties. It was instantly recognizable, and always pleasant. Another loss.  The words below from WRL. – RS)

As many of you may already be aware, long-time pacifist and WRL national staff member, Karl Bissinger died on Nov. 19 of a stroke. Karl had been active in the peace movement since the 1950s, was on the WRL Executive Committee, and was a member of the WRL national staff for more than 30 years from 1973 until health problems forced him to quit a couple years ago.
