The Tobacco-Free Kids Action Fund and Common Cause today released a report that shows tobacco industry contributions at the federal level add up to nearly $3 million – $1.7 million of which went directly to candidates.
Since 1997, the total amount of political contributions by tobacco interests is $32.8 million, the report found.
